send us an e-mail, or make a donation, in which you voluntarily
provide your name and contact information. Visitors' personal
information received via e-mail or collected on the website
is provided only to Gaden Relief personnel who require the information
to respond to inquiries, to process donations, or to update
you about Gaden Relief. We do not sell or rent your information
to anyone.
We
protect all personal information in our custody with strong
security safeguards. Your personal data is never left unprotected
on a computer or harddrive that is not secured on premises owned
by Gaden Relief or its personnel, or by Gaden Relief's credit
card payment processor, CanadaHelps.org, or by Gaden Relief's
Australian partner, the Benevolent Organization for Development,
Health and Insight (BODHI) and its U.S. branch, BODHI USA.
Our
site does not use cookies; nor does it use programs that attempt
to download to, or modify, your computer.
Our
web and transaction servers are privately secured on premises
owned by the GRP Coordinator.
Online
Donations
Our
online donation system utilizes advanced cryptographical technology
to safeguard your data. We use a leading authentication scheme
to secure your session, the same technology used by the major
banks and credit card companies to secure electronic transactions.
When you donate online, a secure session is established between
your computer and our transaction server, ssl.SafeSecure.ca.
Your donation data is reviewed by Gaden Relief personnel and
then submitted over secure channels to our credit card processor,
Canada Helps. In the case of donations to Gaden Relief's health
projects by Australian or U.S. residents, your donation data
is submitted over secure channels to our Australian partner,
BODHI or its branch, BODHI USA, for processing.
